COUNSELING SERVICES OR TRAINING PROGRAMS

I would like to inform you about the commencement of my personal and professional consultancy and training services. My long professional and academic experienced infused with innovative and progressive trends of the hotel industry market allowed me to develop modern, advanced and productivity wised consultancy and training programs.

I hold a PhD in International Business, a Master’s degree in Hospitality Management and Business Administration respectively, and a Bachelor’s in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Thus, I graduated from first class universities: International School of Management in Paris, France, Sheffield Hallam University, Pacific States University, Denver University. Major characteristics and motivators for my educational advancement were my personal high academic performance and my passion in achieving continuous improvement.

I have a long and a valuable experience in the hotel industry of Cyprus, as a hotel owner and manager. During my leadership in hotels, I was committed to the principles of service quality, and innovation, adopting a customer centric operational philosophy. New service and product development and guests satisfaction was a major component in maintaining the competitiveness of the company.

Also, I have many years of work experience in the educational arena as a professor and head master in hotel management and culinary arts schools. Since 2013, I have been promoted as a Supervisor of the Hotel and Culinary Arts Schools in the Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus. I believe that my professional experience from different positions (industry and academia) in relation to my academic qualifications provided me with a strong background which allowed me to put various theories into practice, successfully.

TRAINING SEMINARS

I have been verified by the Cyprus Human Resource Development Authority, as an expert in the thematic area of Hospitality and Tourism. I prepared this training agenda, aiming to meet the training needs of various employees that work in the hospitality and food service industry.

The general aim of this training agenda is to help employees to gain knowledge, develop skills and professional competencies and become more effective and productive in various hotel and restaurant departments. Therefore, the aim is to offer high quality customer service, the promotion of a positive image and the service standards in order to keep a competitive advantage.

  1. WAITER SKILLS (Theoretical and Practical Courses)
    Seminar Objective:
    Participants will acquire the necessary knowledge, attitudes and waiter skills, so that they can apply them during food and beverage service.
  2. PROFESSIONAL ETHICS
    Seminar Objective:
    Participants are aware of the rules, professional obligations and responsibilities towards clients, business and themselves.
  3. WINE & OENOLOGY
    Seminar Objective:
    The participants acquire the necessary knowledge of the wine making process, classify different wines and name the different wines of other countries.
  4. COKCKTAIL PREPARATION & SERVICE
    Seminar Objective:
    To acquire the necessary knowledge, techniques and skills of the bar and prepare and serve the cocktails.
  5. PREPARATION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE & SERVICE
    Course Objective:
    Participants to acquire the necessary knowledge, techniques and skills of alcoholic beverages, various categories and how to serve them.
  6. FLAMBE SERVICE & TECHNIQUES
    Course Objective:
    The participants to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills in the techniques of flambé and how to prepare them (appetizers, main courses and desserts).
  7. QUERIDON SERVICE & TECHNIQUES
    Seminar Objective:
    Participants to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills in the techniques of the queridon service.
