Self - Study Report of Cheney University

ABSTRACT
This assignment analyses a self study report of the Cheyney University of Pennsylvania. In the first chapter, the self study committee and its theme are introduced along with the Nature and Scope of Self-Study. The goals, mission and vision of the Cheyney University are discussed in detailed. The remaining chapters discuss the criterion of leadership, strategic planning, Measurement, Analysis and Knowledge Management, Student, Stakeholder, Faculty and Staff Focus and Process Management. The third chapter explains the student needs and expectations in detail including the financial aids, student complaints and grievances, career services, student’s health center, etc. The criterion of measurement, analysis and knowledge management is discussed about research-based learning, analysis of curricular coherence, student learning outcomes. The assessment to ensure faculty excellence, teaching, scholarship and service, evidence-based excellence have been detailed under the criterion faculty and staff focuses. Finally, the process management criterion has explained the concepts related to the mission, values, ethics and diverse perspectives of general education. Thus, this report presents a detailed self-study of the Cheyney University of Pennsylvania.
