ABSTRACT
Boeing has been the global leader in the aircraft manufacturing since the 1960s and was the first aircraft manufacturer to pursue a global strategy, which produced many competitive advantages. Boeing’s long term strategic goals have the maintenance of its role as the leader in the aircraft industry and the domination of every segment of the industry. This paper examines the strategic moves that Boeing should take in order to:
Achieve profit stability within the global civil aerospace industry
Increase its market share
Align its global strategy with its global structure
