OBJECTIVES

By completing this module, the student should be able to:

• Know the definition of desserts and mention the two different categories of desserts
• Name examples of dessert dishes and explains the three different ways of serving them:
  Ice-cream, pastries, crepes, Cypriot sweet, etc.
• Be aware of the different ways of setting-up the table depending on the type of dessert to be served
• Mention some examples of dessert drinks and know the ways of serving them:
  Commandaria, port, fruit liqueurs, Baileys, Metaxa, napoleon, etc.
